Forgetting the Gospel,??????????

Vance Havner says; " We need not worry for fear the faith of our fathers will have no reverence today. Times have changed they tell us, but time makes no difference to the great I AM. He outlasts all our little systems; they have their day and cease to be. With Him a thousand years are as a day and a day as a thousand years. It would be amusing if it were not so pathic, the concern of those who are afraid the Gospel will be out of date. It is never out of date, for it is dateless. it bares the postmark of no age or time. "THE OLD -TIME RELIGION" is misnomer for it is not merely old-time, but new-time, any-time, all-the-time!!!!!!!

May grant those in this country the intellect and mercy, who count God the only true God as a thing that is null and void in their life, time and the grace to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Please pray every day for our nation.

HOPE:The Way to look ahead and stay ahead in life

A song says; my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus and His righteousness. That is the hope people need in their life. John Bunyan stated that, " Hope is never ill when faith is well". Faith: Not wavering at the promise of God, but being fully convinced that what He has promied He is able to perform- Romans 4:20-21. Also, The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen-Heb. 11:1. Another song says that , Faith, Hope ,and Charity is the way to live succesfully. Good advice to any person looking for substance in their life. As a Christain we should know that living our life based on Christ's example gives us hope not only of God's promises in this life, but hope and an assurance of eternal life. HALLEUIAH, meaning: Hail to God the Creator, and to Jehovah, the Redeemer.
Thomas A Kempis, in the Imitation of Christ. . . In The, therefore, O Lord God, I put all my hope..... For many friends shall not profit, nor strong helpers be able to succor, nor prudent counselors to give a useful answer, nor the books of the learned to console, nor any precious substance to deliver, nor any secret and beautiful place to give shelter, if Thou Thyself do not assist, help, strengthen, comfort, instruct, keep in safety. . . to hope in Thee above all things is the strongest solace of Thy servants.
In Him we live and move and have our being. Acts 17:28

May the Lord bless the and keep the is my heart felt prayer for you:

Food for thought....Martin Luther said,"Everything that is done in the earth is done by hope".

SUCH A TIME AS THIS?????

Luke 21:28 amplified; Now when these things begin to occur, LOOK UP and LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, your redemption (deliverance) IS DRAWING NEAR!!!!
David stated in Psalm 37:25 I have been young and now am old, YET have I not seen the [uncompromisingly] righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread!!!!
Let GOD'S WORD be our source of strength in times of any need in life. Remember that our attitude toward life should be based on God's promises, not what we observe around us. We need to speak what the Bible says about things instead of the usual defeat that the world knows. Proverbs 18:20,21 amplified; states, A man's [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [ whether good or evil]. 21; Death and life are in the power of the tongue; and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].
ALWAYS let THE WORD of GOD deal with trials in our life. Remember RUN YOU RACE WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT'S STRENGTH AND NOT YOU OWN.
In times of needed encouragement, I find comfort always in Psalm 91.
Psalms 118:8, the center verse in the center of the Bible states; IT IS BETTER TO TRUST IN THE LORD, THAN TO PUT CONFIDENCE IN MAN. How true in SUCH A TIME AS THIS!
May God be your source of life and peace and may God bless you is my prayer!!

LIFE LIVED BY THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE

Jhn. 14:6; Jesus said "I AM (the way), (the truth), and (the life). No one comes to the Father except by ME". Have you noticed how that three things in the word of God always brings completion. Three denotes divine perfection; three persons in one God, three attributes of God; omnisience, omnipresence, and omnipotence. Understanding this divine concept can you see the completion in this scripture. One Way to God's love, joy, and peace, one source of Truth that guides and directs, and one Life lived as an example so that we can have life and have it more abundantly.
On the carnal side we look at man's way, man's truth, and man's life. Prov. 14:12; there is a (way) that seems (right) unto man. But the end there of is the way of (death). What a different outcome when man goes by his direction instead of God's.
May God grant us insight into people's hearts so that we can witness to them the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Let us seek God's direction to people who want to hear the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS CHRIST.

Giving: beyond our tithes

We will take for granted we all pay our tithes; a law of blessing from God. Giving beyond your tithes is also in the word of God. Matt. 8:42; Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not away. {Giving should take into account what a person can afford with justice to his family and personal obligations; ( 1Tim. 5:8; Lk. 6:38; 2Cor 9:6-8; 1Jhn.3:17;)} . The Word of God says the poor will always be with us, Jhn. 12:8. POOR defined in the context of this discourse;( needy, lacking material possessions: food, shelter and clothing). The Word of God gives several reasons for the causes of being poor; God's sovereignty.. 1Sam. 2:6-10; Sloth.. Prov. 6:10,11; Lack of industry.. Prov. 24:30-34; Love of pleasure.. Prov. 21:17; Stubborness..Prov. 13:18; Empty pursuits.. Prov. 28:19; Drunkenness.. Prov. 23:21. I believe most people, but not all, who are (always) asking for a hand out fit into one of these situations. I also believe that they never tithe or give because God's Word does not lie. Luke 6:38 states one of the four laws of justice; Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete (measure) withal it shall be measured to you AGAIN. I have found this to be a truth in my life so many times, "you can not out give God"! With this stated, let me say that you should know to whom you give if possible, but this can not always be the case. In giving and trying to be a blessing you will be taken at times, but this should not discourage you from giving and being a blessing. Because God will bless a cheerful giver that gives from the heart, 2Cor. 9:6-9. If a person asks help for the wrong reason and you find out latter that you were decieved, ask God to forgive that person and try to use more discretion the next time. Remember that we all were in Need of a Savior in our life and then God So Loved That He Gave that we might be saved. Remember GOD loves YOU!!!!

Ps: I hope this helped the one who asked.

Life is fragile--handle with "prayer"!!!!!!

As we enter into the unknown of a new year, I would hope people learn to take responsibility for their actions and SINS. If we would only remember that JESUS CHRIST took our SINS on Himself even before we were born. But the day will come when everyone will surely give an account for the actions done in this world, in their body. We have become a people always playing the blame game. I say grow up, get real with life, look in the mirrror,or maybe get a life if the one your living is out of balance with GOD's word and the life he meant for you to live. Someone once said; He who would be righteous, must be fervent in his prayers, fearless in his principles, firm in his purpose, and faithful in his promises. Sounds like someone I would use as a role model. JESUS CHRIST, our righteousness, our example, our Savior, our soon coming KING. May God bless you in your life and your life be one filled with prayer. No one can live in doubt and fear when he has prayed in faith. When our prayer life is in place, the rest of our life becomes one that is not linked to blame but to forgiveness for our SINS. It is wonderful to have a Heavenly Father who hears and knows our every need.

PS: Sorry for the use of the word "mistake"instead of sin, transgression, iniquity, etc. MY "mistake" corrected I hope. It was not intended to mislead, misinterpret, or misrepresent the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. May I endeavor to persevere in JESUS CHRIST while in His service.

Remember GOD loves YOU!!!!

whats next? 2009

How will the new year find you in your relationship with Jesus Christ? Any resolution should include a definite purpose in improving your walk with God. Not only in the new year but each new day should be started with a resolve to increase our faith in Jesus and the task set before us. Go ye into all the world and spread the gospel. Gospel,"Glad tidings"; Jesus Christ , His life, His message of salvation, His gift of healing, compassion, great love, and hope for every one on the face of the earth. Hope that goes beyond this life and what we not only face tomorrow but next year. As the that great old hymn says, "my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus and His righteousness". Thank you God for your Son and the fear He takes out of next year and tomorrow. "May your heart and spirit seek after the perfect will of God in the new year. Run your race with Holy Spirit's strength and not your own. God bless and keep you is my prayer for you in this coming year!

p.s. Jesus wants to be your future, so please let Him.
