whats next? 2009

How will the new year find you in your relationship with Jesus Christ? Any resolution should include a definite purpose in improving your walk with God. Not only in the new year but each new day should be started with a resolve to increase our faith in Jesus and the task set before us. Go ye into all the world and spread the gospel. Gospel,"Glad tidings"; Jesus Christ , His life, His message of salvation, His gift of healing, compassion, great love, and hope for every one on the face of the earth. Hope that goes beyond this life and what we not only face tomorrow but next year. As the that great old hymn says, "my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus and His righteousness". Thank you God for your Son and the fear He takes out of next year and tomorrow. "May your heart and spirit seek after the perfect will of God in the new year. Run your race with Holy Spirit's strength and not your own. God bless and keep you is my prayer for you in this coming year!

BELIEF IN "GOD"

This definition of truth is most applicable: "Truth is not truth unless it is repeated". Psalms14:1 and also Psalms 53:1 both state; The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. Almost every human at one time or another has experienced some form of despair. Defining despair; utter lose of all hope or confidence, a cause of hopelessness. A person may be able to overcome some forms of despair in this life, but to spend eternity with no hope is not a reality in people who do not believe in God! I wonder what it is about God and His plan of salvation that some people find so repulsive. God's main characteristic is that HE is love. His love is extended to every person without having favorites; His love is equal to all. Sin in a person's life is what separates them from the relationship that God intended for them to have with Him. Amazing is it not that God loves you whether you believe in Him or not.
Conscience; is the knowledge of our acts, states, or character as to right or wrong: the facility, power, or principle which decides on the lawfulness of our actions and affections, and approves or condems them; the moral faculty or sense.-- Webster..
Unbeliever; have you noticed how your conscience plays havoc with your intellect and will? Have you asked yourself what if the Bible is right and my intellect and will are wrong. It is a question upon which your eternity can be decided by what your conscience is really telling you.
I will leave you with this: MAT. 16:20 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul.

MORAL?????

It is a fact that we seldom hear any good news now days. Honesty, integrity, doing the right thing in any situation has left individuals' daily life styles. Selfishness can be traced back to all moral failure in people's lives and also the original sin. The book of Proverbs should be taught in schools as a at lest a guide line on how to treat others and live a moral life. Proverbs 1:7, THE FEAR OF GOD IS THE BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE: BUT FOOLS DESPISE WISDOM AND INSTRUCTION. Someone once said; an honest man alters his ideas to fit the truth, but a dishonest man alters the truth to fit his ideas. What defines a society's moral decay is when all truth of GOD is removed from instruction . As individuals we need to realize that we will give an account of our actions in this body. God help us to make people realize this, and make a change to a relationship with JESUS CHRIST BEFORE IT IS TO LATE!!!!! Just as death is a sure thing judgement is also. HEB. 9:27, And as IT IS APPOINTED onto men once to DIE, BUT after this THE JUDGRMENT. KJV: "GOD LOVES YOU" always remember this as a truth!

LIVING AS A LIGHT

It seems today, as people living in the greatest nation on earth, that we have forgotten our Christian heritage. As christians we need to define to the world around us what a life for Christ consists of. One definition I like is; A christian is a mind through which Christ can think, a heart through which Christ loves, a voice through which Christ speaks, a hand through which Christ helps.

A christian's life should be to the place that it is an answer to the world's problems instead of being part of the problem. We have lost the biblical way to look at problems in life. Putting God first places us- first on His list. We will never be a people or the nation that God means for us to be until we realize whose earth we live on. Giving God thanks every day for His Love and Mercy and not forgetting what this coming Christmas time should really mean to us. God's greatest gift to mankind, JESUS CHRIST.

Introduction

This is the beginning of what I hope to be a forum for both God's blessings and His words to come through and touch us as we reflect on the good things He has done for us. Over time, we will come to know the Father better through bible verses, personal messages, and the writings of others that have buried their messages in my heart and once again reaffirmed the presence of His love, grace, and mercy in our lives.
